This long awaited colt is the product of two outstanding horses. His sire, Remembrance's Merry Snip, is one of the last closest living links to both Midnight Sun and Merry Boy, with other great horses (Wilson's Allen, Roan Allen, the great mare Merry Legs, Go Boy's Nite Storm, Ebony Masterpiece, Society Man and an incridibly strong dam line through the Ray Corum breeding program, including Midnight Peggie P, Stormy's Ebony Doll and Ebony' Co-Ed.)

His dam is Revealing Lady. Lady comes represents generations of selective breeding by Harlinsdale Farms and was purchased directly from their farm. She is directly by The Revelation, a strapping big-boned black stallion known for producing top flatshod horses. The Revelation gets his keen intelligence and movement from his sire, Pride's Genius, a stud as renowned for his keen mind as for his strong flatwalk and running walk. Pride's Genius was by Pride of Midnight HF, who revolutionized the style of the breed and out of the great Harlinsdale mare, Delight's Joanna. The Revelation is out of a direct daughter of Sun's Delight D, a son of Midnight Sun and Wilson Snip's Chance, who was known for siring fantastic mares. Lady's dam is a daughter of Pride's Hallelujah, by  Pride of Midnight HF and out of a daughter of Sun's Delight D, and out of a daughter of Pride's Gold Coin daughter. Pride's Gold Coin has sired winning show horses in every division and is known as one of the most influential breeding sires of all times.  He was also by  Pride of Midnight HF and Delight's Joanna, making him a full brother to Pride's Genius.
