Painted Echo
"Echo" is approaching 3 months old now and I am completely in love. From birth, he has been friendly, inquisitive, easy to handle, and very steady. My 3 year old daughter loves to spend time with him, and he’s oblivious to all her jumping, running, squealing, and climbing. He has a very goofy personality, and follows us around like a puppy. I’ve handled him a lot, and have found that he learns new things quickly, and with a great attitude. I am now ponying him off his dam, and taking him with her to trail rides. He handles each new thing with calm acceptance. Bathing, hoof trimming, trailering, low-flying crop dusters…nothing seems to get him worked up. He is displaying lovely gaits- I’ve been seeing him go up and down through his gears. He does a head-nodding running walk, then transitions into a smooth rack, and he has a beautiful canter. I am confident he’s going to offer these same gaits once under saddle, no special training required! I’m thrilled with the friendly, level-headed, intelligent foal that Midas sired for me- and his gorgeous color is just the icing on the cake. He’s shed out to a deep golden buckskin, and showing signs of dapples. The Tobiano chrome just completes the package- he’s a head turner!" - Melissa Molaison
