Image was owned by Karen and Ottie Otterstein of Bayfield, Colorado. Image was a 16 hand 1982 bay mare. She was a gentle mare and could be ridden "with a halter, bareback, anytime, anyplace." She was an old-timey walking horse with a huge shoulder and massive mane and tail.

Image has produced quite a few exceptional foals. Karen and Ottie bred Image to Blue Gold a total of seven times. The results were: Colorado Champagne (buckskin stallion); Sir Starbuck (buckskin stallion); Martha's Image (buckskin mare); Sun's Eldorado Kiva Image (buckskin mare); Blue Golds Smokin' Image (smokey black mare); Golden Gambler (buckskin stallion); and Threat's Gold Leaf Dancer (buckskin stallion).
