Blue was bred by Greg Strausbaugh
of Mifflinburg Pennsylvania and raised by WW Farms of Pavo, Georgia,
just a stone's throw from where Jarred grew up. Ashlynn Williams purchased
the mare when Winston Way sold his breeding herd and we met her on a
visit with Ashlynn. I was struck by her natural, loose way of going,
excellent bone and build. She also has one of THE most confident,
self assured dispositions, ever. She is the first to come
investigate and seems to have no fear, period. She is also
one of the most strikingly beautiful mares you'll ever come
across. We are hoping
to put her under saddle, as I think she'd be a phenominal
trail horse.
She has had several excellent quality colts by
Darrah's Handsome
Traveler. Becauase she is homozygous for black and he
is homozygous for cream and agouti, she can only ever have
buckskin or buckskin roan with him. If you've never seen a buckskin roan, check out
