program allows you exclusive access to the horse of your choice
for lessons, trail rides and more!

keep up to date on the goings on at the farm and communicate with
other riders and volunteers.
FAQs
What services are included with the lease? For $300/month you will receive
access to our
large, lighted ring and network of trails. This is an "on farm"
lease and the horses may not leave the premises without express
written permission. Riding lessons
and foals
carried by the leased horse are not included in the lease.
We also barter for goods and
services.
Can I take lessons with
my leased horse?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage riders new to our farm to
participate in lessons with your horse to help strengthen your
partnership and improve your confidence. Lessons are given by Cori
Cain for $50/session. To schedule a lesson, please contact Cori at
540-550-6259.
What equipment do I need? Helmet: All riders
must wear an ASTM approved riding helmet. Helmets are available for
purchase at the Culpeper Tractor Supply, Culpeper Co-op, or
Saddlery Liquidators in Madison. Pants: All riders must wear long pants. Shoes: Riders must wear shoes with a slight
heel. Paddock boots, riding boots, cowboy boots, and other similar
shoes are fine. Waivers: All riders and visitors must sign our
liability waiver.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
How do I get
started? The first step is a visit to the farm.
There, you can see our facility, meet us, and view the horses. If you like
what you see, the next step is a lesson so we can
evaluate your riding ability and chemistry with the horse. We can
accomplish this all in the same visit if you like. We reserve the right to
deny leases at our discretion. We will try our best to match you with a
horse whose personality, gait and riding level required will suit you and
make your riding experience fun and safe.
