Jarred Langston is an experienced horse trainer, specializing in gaited and trail horses.  Jarred provides basic groundwork, foal handling, starting under saddle, finishing work focusing on gait, trail finishing and problem solving. Gentle, humane training methods and wide variety of techniques are used depending on the individual horse’s learning style. He implements both western methods (such as round penning), European methods (such as ground driving), and natural horsemanship priciples and psychology.
We believe the trail horses are the ultimate equine althletes and trail for a multitude of situations. Check out this article on how to create a great trail horse: How to build a trustworthy trail horse. We strive to keep our training clients updated and provide videos for reference whenever possible. We have also compiled a quick list of Jarred's favorite products.

Please join our Westwood Farms Rider's Club to keep up to date on the goings on at the farm and communicate with other riders and volunteers.
